Gateshead Community Network is based in GVOC and has been established since 2002. It is open to all residents of Gateshead and to community and voluntary sector groups who want to have an influence on the decisions that affect them and their communities.

GCN's Steering Group is made up of members of the Network who have become more involved in the day to day business of the Network and meet monthly. They are the decision makers of the Network (see Steering Group Page for more information).

GCN’s Staff Team support members of the Network to participate in a wide range of groups and partnerships. They also work with the Steering Group in achieving the Vision & Purpose of the Network (see Staff Team Page for more information).
