Here are some of the projects GCN are currently involved in.
We have been unable to set the next date for the Transport Forum as part of the review of Gateshead Strategic Partnership, the Transport Partnership will now form part of Enviromnent, Economy and Culture Partnership, who will meet for the first time on 2nd February future meeting dates will be set at this meeting. Once I have this infoirmnation I will post the Forum meeting date onto site.
The staff team are currently co-ordinating the meetings of the Interim Steering Group who have taken the lead on the Big Lottery Trust Fund.
LOTTERY PUTS BIG TRUST IN TEAMS AND DERWENTWATER
At least £1 million of lottery good cause funding is to flow into Teams and Derwentwater in Gateshead, as the Big Lottery Fund (BIG) announces the first 50 areas across England to benefit from its Big Local Trust programme.
The aim of the Forum is to provide a setting where individuals and community groups from across Gateshead can get together with transport interest groups, transport operators and the Council to discuss the issues affecting them and how we can work together to provide better transport for all.

A web site that aims to list all community groups in Gateshead.
Why should groups put their information on OurGateshead?
All Junior Network School Council members have been invited to have a page in the booklet.
The booklet will show all the excellent changes School Councils have made within their individual schools.
