The aim of the Forum is to provide a setting where individuals and community groups can get together with transport interest groups, transport operators and the Council to discuss the issues affecting them and how we can work together to provide better transport for all.  The topics can range from national policy to what happens in your street – it’s up to you.

The Forum is now a formally recognised sub-group of the  Economy, Skills, Housing & Transport Partnership, part of the Gateshead Strategic Partnership.  That means what happens at the Forum will be reported back through the Partnership structures to a huge range of organisations across the Borough, many at a senior level.
